Michiko: The Mascot of
Project: BEEBALL
(working title)

A video game project I've been developing for a while now. It takes heavy inspiration from Namco's "GeeBee", a 1978 arcade game that combined the gameplay of Atari's "Breakout" with pinball. That game was followed by 2 sequels (BombBee and Cutie Q) and a clone called "Pinball Spectacular" by HAL Laboratory and Commodore.

The idea for this game was to not only try my hand at video game development, but to also answer the question, "How will GeeBee's gameplay be adapted with modern pinball rules?" This is a playable demo and not the final game. Everything is subject to change.

How To Play:
The game is primarily played using the mouse with some slight keyboard uses. This demo only feature 2 of the 4 planned games: "Michiko's Shooting Stars" and "DVD Screen Bouncer".

Michiko's Shooting Starts is an introduction score chasing game that demostrates how the beeball framework functions. You control 2 paddles as you attempt to hit target to earn bonuses and multipliers.

DVD Screen Bouncer is a survival/joke game where you keep the famous (or infamous) DVD logo from falling out of bounds.

Controls:
If you're playing this on a mobile device (iPhone, Android powered phones, and tablets), I recommend enabling the "Mobile Controls" settings.

Pause: P key (Keyboard/Mouse)/ Tap "Menu" or Radio (when "Mobile Controls" setting is on)

Bring the ball down when it touches the bumpers (for use if ball gets stuck in a bumper loop): O key (Keyboard/Mouse)/ Tap player turn arrow (when "Mobile Controls" setting is on).

*Hold ball with paddles/ Release ball from paddles: Click down mouse (Keyboard/Mouse)/ Tap "Hold/FREE" buttons (when "Mobile Controls" setting is on)
*Only usable in Michiko's Shooting Stars*
